Emergency Radiologist (Onsite or Remote): Flexible and Customizable Schedules

Job Description

The Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging at Emory University School of Medicine seeks Radiologists for full‑time or part‑time positions to join a rapidly expanding division. The division provides emergent imaging interpretations at six Emory Healthcare hospitals and Grady Memorial Hospital, Georgia’s largest Level1 trauma center. It operates 24/7/365 and staffs a mix of remote and onsite shifts that include resident and fellow teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent imaging interpretations across Emory Healthcare and Grady Memorial Hospital.
• Work 24/7/365 shifts, including day, afternoon, evening, swing, and optional overnight shifts.
• Participate in resident and fellow teaching and support activities.
• Collaborate with divisional leadership to compose schedules that optimize work‑life balance.
• Perform non‑clinical divisional activities such as scholarship, teaching, trainee supervision, and service if pursuing an academic faculty track.

Qualifications

• ABR board‑certified or eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience is desired.
• Ability to function in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive emergency environment.
• Preference for candidates with a career interest in emergency imaging; can focus clinically (with optional academic time) or academically (with ~20% academic time).
• Visa sponsorship is available for qualified applicants.
• Can commit to remote work from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska; must also be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule.
