Join us at suena energy asPortfolio Manager (f/m/x) and help scale the operational backbone of our growing asset portfolio! In this role, you will work at the intersection of energy markets, asset operations, technical enabling and customer-facing work, helping to onboard new assets, solve operational edge cases and turn technical and regulatory requirements into reliable execution.

With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets while simultaneously minimizing their risks.

Your mission

• Take ownership of theoperational onboarding of new renewable and storage assets , ensuring all required information is available and transferred to the right internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as akey point of contact during onboarding and asset management , whenever operational, technical, or regulatory clarification is needed.
• Coordinate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams toresolve issues, keep projects moving, and create transparency around next steps.
• Monitor assets during and after go-live, identify irregularities, and help ensure thattechnical and operational setup matches expectations .
• Analyze regulatory and market developments , translate regulatory requirements into operational specifications and processes, and guide teams on implications for asset operations and product roadmaps.
• Help improve how we work by designing scalable processes, defining clear specifications and data flows, strengthening handovers across teams, and identifying efficiency opportunities as we grow.

Your profile

• Degree in Energy Economics, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related fieldwith relevance to the energy industry.
• First professional experience through internships, working student roles, trainee programs, or an entry-level position in the energy sector.
• You bring agenuine interest in energy markets, renewable assets, and the technical and regulatory context in which they operate.
• Analytical and data-affine mindset – you are comfortable interpreting information, spotting inconsistencies, and asking the right follow-up questions.
• Strong communication skills andconfidence in coordinating with different stakeholders , from technical customer contacts to internal cross-functional teams.
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working, with the ability tobalance attention to detail and a pragmatic approach .
• Comfortable working in an environment where processes evolve and responsibilities can develop over time.
• Fluent inGerman and English (C1 each) .
• Knowledge related to batteries, grid-side processes, regulatory topics, or asset/project development is a plus, but not required.
