Engineer (18-Month Leased Labor) - Model-based Design (MBD)

In this role, you will develop mathematical models and algorithms for ADAS/ADS using Octave and similar tools. You will implement models, run dynamic simulations, and evaluate safety-related vehicle behavior. You’ll handle data pre-/post-processing and batch simulations to validate model outcomes. You join a high-performance Automotive Engineering Lab aiming to advance automated driving technologies and robust control. • Develop mathematical models and algorithms for ADAS/ADS using Octave or similar tools
• Implement models and algorithms and perform dynamic simulations
• Conduct data pre-processing and post-processing for simulations and validation
• Execute batch simulations and assess safety and safe vehicle behavior
• Collaborate with the team to integrate into high-performance engineering efforts

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Profound knowledge of model-based design (MBD) tools and programming languages (e.g., Octave)
• Proficient in systems modeling, numerical methods, control theory, linear algebra
• Experience in ADAS function development or related automotive functions, vehicle dynamics and control
• Hands-on attitude and ability to integrate into a high-performance team
• Proficiency in English; German and/or Chinese knowledge is a plus
