Engineer (18-months Leased Labor) - Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics Controls

As part of Huawei Munich Research Center's Automotive Engineering Laboratory, you will fuse AI with traditional vehicle dynamics to advance AI-driven control for human and autonomous driving. You’ll design, simulate, and deploy advanced control and estimation solutions for next‑generation vehicles, collaborating with hardware, software, and supplier teams. The role offers impact across AI-enhanced stability, handling, and performance in ADS features. • Combine AI/ML with traditional control to enhance estimators and controllers
• Develop AI-based state estimators and RL/Supervised learning driven controllers
• Implement and tune advanced control methods (adaptive/robust) with AI insights
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, suppliers, and partners to enable production-ready solutions

• Master’s or higher degree in AI, Automotive Engineering, Control Systems or related field (PhD preferred)
• Experience developing AI-based decision-making and control systems for vehicles or robotics
• Proficiency in Python/C/C++/MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver under pressure
• Fluency in English and enthusiasm for working in an international team
