Engineer Automotive MOSFET Development (f/m/div)

In this role you will define and develop automotive MOSFET power semiconductors, leveraging simulations to drive design decisions. You will assess hardware measurements from early development stages and contribute to data analysis and reporting during qualification or performance deviations. You’ll participate in risk assessments and FMEAs to mitigate issues. This position sits in Infineon’s Research & Development team, contributing to decarbonization and digitalization through advanced power electronics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply AI tools to optimize workflows, shaping safe and efficient mobility solutions.

• Define and develop automotive MOSFET power semiconductors using simulation tools
• Evaluate measurement data from first hardware within development projects
• Contribute to data analysis and reporting for qualification failures or deviating product performance
• Participate in risk assessments and FMEAs

• Electrical Engineering degree or comparable study
• Basic technical understanding of MOSFETs
• Knowledge in power semiconductors and their applications is a plus
• Innovative, open mindset and eager to learn in a dynamic technical team
• Confident in using AI tools to work efficiently
• Very good written and spoken German and English
