Engineer for Waste Package Documentation

In this role you will prepare container and waste documentation for the segmentation project on-site at the Gundremmingen NPP, supporting waste management activities. You will work closely with the Waste Management team and subcontractors to ensure accurate documentation and compliant packaging processes. The role involves dose rate measurements, process monitoring, and status updates to project management, contributing to safe, efficient waste packaging operations. This position offers hands-on site exposure and cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven, high-stakes nuclear environment.

• Organize on-site waste documentation preparation at Gundremmingen
• Monitor and control loading into repository containers, including dose rate checks
• Oversee packaging of loading magazines and evaluate dose rate data
• Update project status and communicate with project management
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors for waste documentation

• Degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in nuclear waste documentation
• Fluency in German and English
• MS Office skills
