Engineering Manager – AI Evaluation Engine

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of our AIP evaluation engine across verticals
• Stay hands-on where it matters most
• Own conceptual integrity as the system grows
• Line-manage your team
• Own delivery and engineering quality
• Manage the defect flow
• Build a strong multi-disciplinary team
• Partner across teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and operating production systems
• Direct people-management experience (or clear, evidenced readiness for it)
• Proficiency in Python for backend services and data pipelines
• Demonstrated technical leadership of a small engineering team
• Strong architecture judgement
• A genuine bias to stay hands-on while leading
• Clear written and verbal communication
