Enterprise AI Architect & Agentic Platform Lead (m/f/d)

As Enterprise AI Architect & Agentic Platform Lead, you define the strategy and governance for HARMAN’s AI ecosystem. You’ll lead a team of AI Platform Engineers, Solution Architects, and Agent Developers, ensuring secure, scalable, enterprise-wide AI capabilities. The role sits at the intersection of technology, business priorities, and leadership, shaping platform standards and governance. You’ll collaborate with Digital, Cybersecurity, Data, and Business teams to deliver trusted AI at scale. • Define strategic direction, architecture, governance, and operation of the Enterprise AI platform
• Lead and develop AI Platform Engineers, Solution Architects, and Agent Developers (4+ direct reports)
• Manage budgets, technology investments, and vendor relationships
• Establish engineering standards, KPIs, and operational metrics for the AI platform
• Ensure delivery of enterprise AI capabilities with cross-functional alignment
• Define reference architecture, integration standards, and AI governance
• Drive adoption of scalable, secure AI solutions across the organization
• Collaborate with Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Digital Workplace teams

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years in enterprise, cloud, software, or platform architecture
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, security architecture, and enterprise integration patterns
• Strong knowledge of AI application architecture, agent-based systems, RAG, orchestration frameworks, vector databases
• Experience defining architecture standards, governance, observability, and operational controls for enterprise platforms
• Proven experience managing engineering or architecture teams (4+ engineers/architects)
• Experience developing roadmaps, operational plans, and managing vendor relationships
• Ability to influence senior leadership and translate business strategy into technical execution
• Experience balancing strategic architecture with operational delivery
