Enterprise Systems Engineer

Overview

Role focusing on pre-sales activities with enterprise-level customers, cloud and hosting providers. Collaborates with sales, Veeam Enterprise, Cloud and Hosting partners, and internal teams to demonstrate products and position Veeam solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales to help secure and grow business with new and existing large end-user customers (Enterprise market), Cloud and Hosting Providers.
• Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Veeam’s value-added Enterprise, Cloud and Hosting providers, including training, enablement, joint meetings, and relationship management.
• Provide pre-sales support and/or on-site installation assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software.
• Build and maintain relationships with Enterprise customers and strategic alliance partners in collaboration with sales colleagues.
• Provide input for and participate in Veeam marketing events.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ability to drive business conversations with relevant C-level stakeholders of enterprise-level customers.
• Ability to advise and influence customer decisions on future business strategy and ensure a positive customer experience on assigned accounts.
• Evangelize Veeam messaging at Enterprise-focused marketing events.
• Coordinate pre-sales efforts with enterprise-level customers through collaboration with Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services, whether internal or via Partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident presenting to groups, both remotely and in-person.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with VMware and Microsoft virtualization technologies in large environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization management solutions such as vRealize Operations and System Center.
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure and AWS; ability to position and discuss Cloud technologies.
