Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Our Client, Global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of cutting-edge products in Fashion & Luxury and MedTech solutions Industry is currently looking for an:

EHS Specialist

The EHS Manager will be responsible for facilitating the standardization of EHS management system, ensuring full implementation of Group EHS guidelines, policies, and directives, in alignment with the relevant EHS Manager.

Areas of responsibility

Monitor and report injuries, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions using Group systems
Update risk assessments documents in compliance with local legislation
Participate in incident investigations (5W analysis) and EHS meetings
Carry out EHS inspections in the production departments and ensure updating of EHS action plans
Collect and report KPIs via EHS dashboards and Gensuite
Interface with company functions regarding the selection, delivery and verification of correct PPE
Promote EHS initiatives across departments and track and report preventive and corrective actions
Interface with the property’s Environmental Manager to collect environmental data on quantities of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste and regarding order and cleanliness of waste collection areas, EER labelling, etc.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or similar in accordance with German legislation
Up to 2 years of HSE experience (e.g., HSE Specialist, HSE Consultant)
Knowledge of German health, safety and environmental legislation
Knowledge of Near Miss, First Aid, Unsafe Actions and Conditions reporting tools
ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001 Energy Management System
Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma experience is a nice to have
SAP and MS Office proficiencyStrong problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
German and English fluent (Italian nice to have)
