Environmental Testing & Qualification
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute environmental qualification test programs, including:

- Vibration testing (random & sinusoidal)
- Shock testing (impact, drop)
- Thermal cycling and temperature extremes
- Humidity and environmental exposure testing
- Ensure test execution aligns with applicable standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).
- Set up and operate environmental test equipment such as vibration tables, thermal chambers, shock testers, and environmental chambers.
- Develop and execute test procedures and acceptance test plans (ATPs).
- Collect and analyze test data using data acquisition systems, identify failure modes and conduct root cause analysis.
- Generate detailed qualification reports with recommendations for design improvements.
- Document test results to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams to validate designs.
- Provide feedback to improve product reliability and manufacturability.
- Support design verification and product qualification efforts across the lifecycle.

Qualifications
- SECRET clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8+ years of experience in environmental testing or qualification engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with vibration, shock, thermal, and humidity testing and environmental lab equipment and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with military or industry standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, AS9100 preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Nashua, NH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47.12 - $105.00/hour.
