As part of the global Cybersecurity Assurance function, you will help Siemens achieve its goals by delivering objective, independent assurance to the Managing Board and Audit Committee. You will partner with executive management to assess, improve, and secure the company’s IT and OT infrastructures, product security, software development, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end cybersecurity assessments across the Siemens landscape, including products, services, IT systems, factories, and software development centers.
• Apply hacking principles, red‑team methodologies, and tools to emulate real‑world threat behaviors against Siemens digital assets such as cloud applications, on‑premise infrastructure, and digital products.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts from multiple industries to identify root causes of issues and propose innovative solutions.
• Independently research the latest developments in cybersecurity technologies and threats, evaluating their impact on the Siemens environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as GIAC GPEN, OSCP, OSWE, CRTP, eJPT, or CREST are a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including Bash, Python, PowerShell, and C++/C#.
• Solid background and several years of professional experience in penetration testing, preferably within Siemens or a related industry.
• A strong interest in emerging cybersecurity trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: application and software security, EDR and antivirus evasion, C2 setup, automated security testing, Active Directory attacks, etc.
• Demonstrated participation in capture‑the‑flag events, bug‑hunting, or vulnerability research (CVEs) is a plus.
• An international mindset and willingness to travel and work in a diverse team.
• Enthusiastic attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
