Experienced CRA Manager

In this role based in Munich, you will lead and develop Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to support Medpace’s global clinical trials. You work closely with CTMs and training teams to ensure high performance, staffing, and project alignment across regions. You’ll oversee CRA recruitment, resourcing, and retention, while coordinating cross-department activities to meet study objectives and regulatory standards. • Line management of CRAs and oversight of performance
• CRA recruitment and resourcing planning
• Coordinate CRA training and development with Training & Development
• Ensure CRA effectiveness and compliance with project objectives
• Monitor turnover/retention of CRAs to meet company goals
• Assist CTMs to achieve project objectives and troubleshoot issues
• Serve as country/region contact for feasibility and CRA leadership as needed
• For senior levels, lead department projects across countries or regions; supervise CRA Managers
• For AD/Director: supervise CRA Managers regionally; contribute to training strategies and cross-department coordination to win contracts

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ CRA experience in the specified country
• 2–3 years’ experience as CRA Manager (CRAM)
• Advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Occasional travel 15–25%
• Fluent in English
• For AD/Director: Master’s degree or equivalent with 8–10 years’ experience in clinical research; strategic thinking; knowledge of federal regulations
