Overview

We are now seeking an experienced structural designer or project manager for new construction at our Turku office.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently on demanding structural design tasks with support from staff.
• Lead a project team and maintain project progress.
• Participate in bid and contract activities.
• Act as an independent technical expert and/or lead a team on technical solutions.
• Take responsibility for building supervision as a responsible structural designer where possible.

Qualifications

• Degree suitable for structural design (Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering).
• Knowledge of old structures and building materials.
• At least eight years of experience in renovation structural design.
• Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written); ability to work in English in an international market.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required; experience with Tekla Structures and FEM calculations is an advantage.
• Certified qualifications or eligibility to obtain them are valued.
