Expert Configuration Manager for Digital Engineering (all gender)

Job Description

• Lead Digital Engineering projects and contribute to the evolution of Digital Engineering capabilities and roadmaps.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for engineering methods, data models, workflows and digital engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, IT and other stakeholders to align business requirements and digital solutions.
• Drive the implementation of Digital Engineering solutions, including methods, processes, data structures and tooling.
• Support pilots, rollouts and user adoption through coaching, knowledge transfer and training activities.
• Analyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, traceability and digital maturity.
• Contribute to the definition and monitoring of KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Have comprehensive experience in Digital Engineering, Engineering Methods & Tools, PLM, Systems Engineering, or Engineering Process Management.
• Have experience working with engineering toolchains such as Windchill, Siemens NX, Xpedition, Jira, Confluence or comparable solutions.
• Understand engineering data structures, product configurations, change management and engineering workflows.
• Have successfully driven process improvements, rollouts, digitalization initiatives or tool implementations.
• Can translate business requirements into practical and sustainable digital solutions.
• Enjoy working at the interface between Engineering, IT and Business stakeholders.
• Work independently, analytically and solution‑oriented in complex engineering environments.
