Overview

In this role you ensure efficient Metro Own Brand distribution and uphold our sCore strategy by optimizing order processing, delivery timeliness, and customer satisfaction. You work cross-functionally to improve transparency in the supply chain and reinforce Metro International Supply’s reputation as a reliable partner through OTIF deliveries. You communicate proactively with customers, coordinate transportation, and drive data-driven improvements to operations and service levels.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Receive and accurately process customer orders for flawless execution
Provide proactive, clear customer updates on order status and potential issues
Serve as the main contact for inquiries and maintain high service levels
Plan and schedule transportation with carriers, customers, and suppliers to achieve OTIF
Resolve logistical issues promptly to protect delivery timelines
Monitor and support carrier performance to ensure target service levels
Collaborate with customs experts to prepare export documentation for international shipments
Ensure regulatory compliance for cross-border transactions
Work with procurement, supplier collaboration, and operations to improve carrier and supplier service levels
Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to optimize order-to-delivery processes
Use dashboards to track KPIs for order processing, transport performance, and service levels
Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to improve logistics and customer satisfaction
Recommend and implement process improvements for operational excellence and cost efficiency

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering with SCM/Logistics focus
3+ years of relevant experience in the field
Order management expertise
Customer communication and relationship management
Transportation planning and on-time delivery coordination
Carrier performance oversight
Export documentation knowledge for international shipments
Regulatory compliance understanding for cross-border trade
Data analysis proficiency for logistics KPIs
Cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners
Process optimization experience
Technical systems usage including ERP, dashboards, and reporting tools
