As an Elec - Expert Hardware Engineer, you shape hardware architectures and advanced control electronics for automotive applications. You collaborate with international teams to translate system requirements into robust designs while balancing cost, space, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability. You contribute to verification strategies and support testing and debugging to drive product development. You will engage in AI-driven developments and align hardware concepts with automotive standards, delivering impactful solutions for mobility’s future.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Define and develop requirements and system architectures for hardware solutions
Design advanced control electronics considering space, EMI/EMC, cost, and manufacturability
Specify verification and validation strategies for hardware designs
Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting during product development
Develop hardware concepts aligned with automotive development standards
Translate system-level requirements into robust electronic designs
Work in agile, international project environments
Collaborate with global engineering teams on technical topics
Support AI-driven developments in the hardware context
Contribute technical expertise to the team’s success

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related field
At least 4 years of proven experience in embedded hardware and control electronics development
Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and compliance methods
Experience with design tools such as Altium Designer or LTspice (advantage)
Solid understanding of automotive development standards and processes
Very good English skills with strong analytical and communication abilities
Team player with collaboration skills in diverse international teams
