As a Supply chain enabler at METRO, you will drive feasible, cost-efficient route-to-market solutions across countries and suppliers. You will align Procurement, Supply Chain, and markets to ensure stable flows, performance transparency, and target attainment. Your analytical approach will tackle complex problems, support decision-making, and push continuous improvement for operational excellence and sustainable growth. • Perform route-to-market feasibility studies and transport benchmarks across direct shipment projects
• Recommend RTM decisions and customer price calculations for RDC articles
• Coordinate MIS processes for new assortment start-up and ongoing flow management improvements
• Collaborate with commercial teams, countries, and external partners on supply chain matters
• Monitor supplier performance (e.g., OTIF, lead times) and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate penalties where applicable in alignment with Commercial and SCM
• Develop concepts with commercial teams to achieve targets like growth and new assortments
• Provide analytical foundations for complex problems (e.g., dangerous goods, new categories) to support approvals

• Deep understanding of route-to-market/feasibility calculations and related processes
• Experience with supply chain and international trading, including sourcing value chain
• Structured, concise communication and change management skills
• Customer-focused with cost-conscious mindset
• Excellent English and German (or another European language) proficiency
