In this role you will enable efficient, economically viable route-to-market solutions across countries and suppliers, supporting decision-making through feasibility analyses and transport benchmarks. You will ensure end-to-end alignment among Procurement, Supply Chain, and Metro Countries to stabilize supply flows and improve performance. You tackle complex problems with analytical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, driving continuous improvement and sustainable growth. • Conduct international flow management activities including route-to-market feasibility studies and transport benchmarks
• Make decisions or recommendations on RTM and price calculations for articles routed via RDC
• Coordinate MIS processes during new assortment start-up and support continuous process improvements
• Develop concepts with the commercial team to hit targets such as growth and new assortments
• Collaborate with commercial departments, countries, and partners on supply chain matters
• Monitor supplier performance (OTIF, lead times) and manage corrective actions
• Coordinate penalties where applicable in line with contracts with Commercial and SCM

• Strong knowledge of route-to-market/feasibility calculations and supply chain processes
• Experience in international trading and category knowledge (e.g., Frozen, Fresh, Spirits)
• Academic degree with 4+ years in the field
• Structured, concise communication and change management abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with cost-conscious thinking
• Fluent English and German or another European language
• Strong networking within Metro and attention to detail
