Expert - RF Power Amplifier

As Expert in RF Power Amplifier, you will lead research on wide-band PA architectures and high-efficiency designs to support multi-band mobile terminals. You’ll work within Huawei's Terminal RF team in Europe to solve design challenges and evaluate innovative ideas, contributing to a cutting-edge research program. This role emphasizes collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, hands-on MMIC design, and driving impactful advancements in RF power amplification.

• Research wide-band PA architectures to support multi-band RF transmitters in mobile terminals
• Investigate high-efficiency PA architectures, including Envelope-Tracking with power supply modulator and Doherty designs
• Develop load-insensitive PA architectures to tolerate load variations
• Address technology development challenges to meet product requirements
• Actively participate in proposing, reviewing, and evaluating innovative technical ideas

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in high-efficiency RF power amplifier design in mobile terminal applications
• Proficiency in MMIC circuit design and RF simulation tools
• Expertise in load-insensitive PA design, Envelope-Tracking PA design, wide-band PA design, a power supply modulator, and Doherty PA design
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with good communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel in Europe and China
