Expert - RF Switch

As an RF Switch Expert, you will drive innovative RF-SOI and RF MEMS switch development to improve performance and reduce size. You will work within a multidisciplinary team at Huawei’s Heisenberg Research Center in Munich, shaping next-generation RF switch technologies and processes. You’ll tackle high-reliability materials and sacrificial-layer process development to enable billion-cycle lifetimes. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge research, patenting activities, and cross-border collaboration. You will contribute to a mission of advancing telecom and enterprise-grade RF technology on a global scale.

• Conceptual design and structural simulation of RF MEMS switches
• Improve insertion loss and harmonic performance via innovative circuit design
• Reduce switch size without performance loss through advanced design
• Develop high-reliability contact materials for extended lifetimes
• Lead key process development for RF MEMS switches including sacrificial-layer techniques
• Pursue patenting activities related to RF MEMS switches
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Travel to China as needed

• 10+ years of experience in SOI RF Switch design or 5+ years in MEMS RF Switch development
• Hands-on RF Switch technology development or performance improvement experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel to China
