Export Coordinator

The Role

We are currently recruiting for four experienced Export Coordinators to join a leading freight forwarding company in Hamburg . This is an excellent opportunity for Sea Freight professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced international logistics environment, managing export shipments from start to finish while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sea Freight export shipments (FCL & LCL) from booking through to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents and hauliers to ensure the smooth execution of shipments.
• Prepare, check and manage all export documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international shipping requirements.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational issues.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate shipment records within the freight forwarding system.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2–3 years' experience within Sea Freight Export Freight Forwarding .
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation and international shipping processes.
• Fluent German (essential) and a good command of English.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Experience using freight forwarding software (preferred but not essential).
