Head of the Surveying Department (m/f/d)

We are a medium-sized engineering firm operating throughout Germany, with over 200 employees currently working at 12 locations. Our company’s main areas of focus include water management, infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, raw materials, geodata/GIS, and environmental planning.

To strengthen our team, preferably in Zwickau, we are currently seeking to fill the following position on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis:

Head of the Surveying Department (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

• Head of the Engineering Surveying Department,
• Providing technical and managerial guidance to department staff,
• Preparing quotes and invoices,
• Project management and independent project execution,
• Managing existing clients and acquiring new clients,
• Working with specialized hardware and software.

We expect the following from applicants:

• a degree in surveying engineering, geodesy, or a related field,
• several years of professional experience,
• the ability to work independently and with a focus on goals, quick learning, flexibility, the ability to work well in a team, and the ability to handle conflict and criticism,
• proficiency in MS Office,
• a Class B driver’s license,
• a commitment to independent professional development and continuing education.
