Maintenance Manager

Lead the maintenance, installation, repair, and upkeep operations for Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal facility standards within budget.

Nuts and Bolts of the Job

• Lead engineering and maintenance operations of the property, overseeing building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixtures and equipment in all areas.
• Guarantee the safety and security of the property and people by coordinating and enforcing procedures and regulatory follow‑up.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including fire safety installations.
• Prepare the hotel for regular fire, H&S, and building audits.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Carry out inspections to identify and resolve facility issues.
• Comply with statutory local legislation and regulation, especially H&S, building regulations and fire safety.
• Monitor, optimise, and anticipate budgets and maintenance and personnel expenses.
• Contribute to the optimisation of property results, including creating room availability for sale.
• Develop and train employees under your charge to perform to the required standard.
• Communicate effectively so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them.

Your Rock Star Experience

• Proven experience as maintenance manager or similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
• Knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
