The Role

As part of our Facilities team, you will play an important role in ensuring our machinery, equipment, and site facilities remain safe, reliable, and operational. This is a varied, hands‑on position suited to someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys identifying problems, finding practical solutions, and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of a technical facility.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and site facilities.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out appropriate repairs where possible.
• Support general facilities maintenance and practical site‑related tasks as required.
• Respond proactively to maintenance issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the wider facility.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, technically minded, and comfortable working independently to identify and resolve problems.

You Will Ideally Have

• Experience in the maintenance, repair, or servicing of machinery and equipment.
• A good mechanical understanding, with electrical knowledge or experience considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
• A relevant technical background or qualification, ideally as an Industrial Mechanic, Machinist, Toolmaker, Mechatronics Technician, or similar.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a hands‑on approach.
• The ability to work independently, identify issues, and implement practical solutions.
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of facilities and maintenance activities.
