Field Application Engineer - nVent Eriflex

In this role you will drive technical and commercial activities as a Field Application Engineer within the sales team. You’ll define technical solutions and commercial offers for the Central Cluster, collaborating with engineering and sales, from pre-project to post-sale follow-up. You help customers implement tailored solutions while ensuring satisfaction and supporting cross-functional teams. This position offers global exposure, impact on critical projects, and a chance to shape customer outcomes through consultative technical guidance.

• Work with engineering offices to define product specifications
• Collaborate with cluster sales teams when expertise is needed
• Support pre-project teams from the start of the sales cycle with clients
• Capture technical, quality, and production requirements
• Define customized solutions with engineering
• Build and present commercial offers
• Defend technical and commercial proposals
• Maintain a consultative approach to product use and implementation
• Ensure project follow-up to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Organize customer visits and conduct commercial actions with prospects
• Proactively propose ideas for customer projects, designs, and offers

• Higher education in electrical engineering or industrial automation preferred
• Experience in industrial sales, especially in low-voltage markets, locally and internationally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Track record in international environments
• Strong negotiator with collaboration, persuasion, and diplomacy
• Proactive, results-oriented with ability to develop commercial activity
• Proficiency in English; German, French, Dutch a strong advantage
