Field Process Engineer (all genders)

In this role you apply process know-how to support Lam equipment at customer sites, driving process optimization, installations, and design improvements. You will work with cross-functional teams and customers in the EMEA region to ensure successful implementations and high satisfaction. You’ll design experiments, analyze results, and mentor junior engineers, contributing to Lam’s lifecycle service approach.

• Provide process support, installation, and productivity improvements for Lam equipment at customer sites
• Conduct DOE evaluations to define process windows for new installations or hardware modifications
• Design and run experiments, collect/analyze data, generate reports and recommendations
• Develop new processes for small variants to existing applications
• Lead application-related projects from planning to recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand needs and roadmaps
• Present technical and marketing materials to customers with a win-win framing
• Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers

• PhD; or Masters of Science with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or Bachelor of Science with 5+ years of work experience in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science, or related field
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and common office software
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer relationship skills
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE, and on-call availability
