Stellenbeschreibung:

We are seeking a driven, independent and entrepreneurial Field Sales Engineer to join our European Break-In Team, focused on expanding into new accounts and emerging markets across the German-speaking region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in markets where the company currently has limited penetration, with a strong focus on high-growth industries such as industrial robotics, material handling, energy storage, and EV Charging Systems.

The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong commercial instincts, allowing them to independently develop opportunities, engage customers, and drive strategic account penetration.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and penetrate new customers, applications, and markets where the organization currently has limited presence.
  • Develop and execute strategic account entry plans to establish early design engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • Build relationships with engineering, procurement, and technical stakeholders within target organizations.

Market Expansion

  • Industrial Robotics (primary focus)
  • Material Handling (primary focus)
  • EV Charging Systems
  • Monitor market trends and identify new application opportunities within these sectors.

Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development

  • Engage customers early in the design and development cycle to position products for future design wins.
  • Drive the sales process from initial engagement through opportunity development and closure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, product management, and sales leadership to support solution development.

Strategic Account Development

  • Establish strong relationships with key customers across the DACH region.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings, technical discussions, and industry engagements.
  • Maintain a pipeline of high-potential opportunities within target markets.
  • Prepare and present strategic growth plans by key account to senior management.

Experience

  • Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience in business development, technical sales, or engineering-related roles.
  • Experience within industrial robotics or related automation markets is highly desirable.
  • Background in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within an industrial or technology-driven environment.

Education

  • Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Or another relevant technical discipline
  • Strong ability to combine technical understanding with commercial strategy
  • Experience selling into engineering-driven industries
  • Ability to identify opportunities and independently drive new business initiatives
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative and motivation
