The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for installing, qualifying, maintaining, and servicing Repligen products across both product lines: Upstream PAT (Rebel XT, MAVERICK, MAVEN, ZipChip) UV/Vis spectroscopy systems (SoloVPE, FlowVPE, FlowVPX) and filtration/fluid management systems (XCell™ ATF, TFF, TFDF, Chromatography, and Filling Systems).

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role operating across Europe. The work is performed at customer sites, and travel is required to support installations, qualifications, training, and troubleshooting. Many service jobs are local, helping maintain a balanced and sustainable work schedule. The FSE works closely with Sales, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify (IQ/OQ/PQ), maintain, and repair Rebel XT, MAVERICK, MAVEN, ZipChip SoloVPE, FlowVPE, FlowVPX, TFF, ATF, and related systems.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Deliver customer training on system operation, software, and accessories.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Document service activities, resolutions, and technical updates in CRM and service platforms.
• Collaborate with global FSE teams and Field Service Manager to share knowledge and coordinate service efforts.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory standards during service activities.
• Review and contribute to service documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support demo and loaner system programs, including verification testing and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Engineering, Laboratory Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in field service for scientific instruments or bioprocess equipment.
• Experience working in Cleanrooms is preferred.
• Strong analytical, mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• GMP or GLP experience preferred.
• Ability to draft and execute SOPs and technical documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
