Field Service Engineer - Pyxis & Infusion & Parata (m/f/d) DOD U.S. citizen

Job Description Summary

Are you a hands-on, action orientated, self-motivated, high-energy, proactive, dynamic Specialist? If yes, we encourage you to join our team as Technical Field Service Engineer. The position is homebased, location should be in Germany (Region Landstuhl/Frankfurt) and you can expect a verity of tasks and a nice balance between 80% in-field and 20% Home-based. The role will require travel across all DOD accounts in Europe, meetings, conferences, and training courses as required including overnights.

Accountabilities & Job objectives

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will provide remote and on-site reactive service for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems & PARATA technologies located within hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. The FSE will service primarily hardware and software system components located in U.S. Department of Defense sites (DOD). Additionally, the FSE will participate in the installation and upgrades of these systems and secondarily execute a preventative maintenance program. The FSE will participate in pre-installation testing, reconfiguring, and documentation of uncovered technical issues of all applicable Pyxis systems & PARATA technologies.

About you

• Must be a US Citizen with US Passport
• Military (DOD) Field experience supporting medical or automation equipment in a healthcare setting a plus.
• Must possess ability to obtain US DOD clearance and obtain CAC
• Excellent customer and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Well organized, process oriented and diligent with an eye for detail and quality.
• Working knowledge of PC hardware, windows operating systems and basic networking. Certifications a plus.
• Flexible & adaptable with capability and willingness to embrace change.
• Excellent presentation and communication
• English should be mother language, additional language welcome
• Good skills in MS Office
• Driver License
