Finance & Accounting Lead

Lead a finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations
Manage customer accounts, address financial requests, and ensure high service levels
Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following US GAAP - 280E standards
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor financial performance and deliver insights and recommendations to leadership
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with department heads
Monitor variances and implement corrective actions
Develop financial models for business planning and decision-making
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Develop and enforce internal controls and policies
Lead and mentor junior finance team members
Collaborate with customers' operations, HR, legal, and other departments
Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Provide administrative support to Management as needed
Streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management
Excel proficiency at intermediate to advanced level
ERP systems proficiency at intermediate level; QBO desired
Familiarity with GSuite and Slack
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Attention to detail

Conversational English (C1-C2)
Good written and verbal communication skills
