Finance Manager, Accounting

Key job responsibilities

• Drive core accounting operations, including month‑end closing, financial reporting, and the management of external audits across multiple frameworks with accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Transform accounting data into actionable insights that drive innovation.
• Identify, develop, and implement scalable process improvements using automation and AI‑powered tools.
• Collaborate globally with internal Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams, external business partners, and other departments such as Tax and Legal.
• Lead and deliver complex, large‑scale projects in a fast‑moving, international, high‑growth environment.
• Continuously enhance your skills by working with advanced finance technologies and global best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Extensive experience in leading end‑to‑end accounting cycles, managing audits, and navigating multi‑jurisdictional reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms; leveraging automation tools and AI to improve processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to turn accounting data into actionable insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional and global teams.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience applying German GAAP (HGB) accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with advanced finance technologies, AI‑driven analytics, and process automation.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement scalable solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in German.
• Professional accounting certification.
