Your Tasks What you can expect:

• Responsibility for spend management and receivables management, including control and clarification of open items
• Support in posting current business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable and G/L accounting, payroll, and banking) in a team with two other accountants
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (tax office, service providers, etc.) and training employees outside the Finance team
• Support in the preparation of annual financial statements as well as cooperation in audits and the preparation of monthly financial statements

Your Skills What you bring with you:

• Applied HGB (German Commercial Code) knowledge and experience with German tax and VAT law
• Proven experience in working with tax advisors and service providers
• Applied experience in finance teams of medium-sized or large companies
• German language skills at native speaker level and very good English round off your profile

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in DATEV accounting or the drive to learn and master the skills to use the software
• Responsibility for accounting or collaboration in accounting in medium-sized companies
• Experience with audits and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
