Finance Manager (Berlin)

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a dynamic investment firm in Berlin. This role involves supporting commercial processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating closely with the CFO to drive financial strategy and operations. You will play a crucial part in the financial management of the firm, contributing to its growth and success in the mid‑market sector.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support all commercial processes of the organization entities, including KVG and funds
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements in coordination with external advisors
• Ensure compliance with reporting guidelines and support external audits
• Manage invoicing and accounts receivable
• Support payroll processing and HR matters
• Document processes in compliance with BaFin regulations
• Act as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and investors
• Assist in the acquisition and sale of assets
• Document investment decisions and prepare capital calls and distributions
• Prepare analyses and materials for investor reporting
• Coordinate and support ESG reporting
• Assist with compliance matters including KYC and AML policies

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in auditing, tax advisory, or financial investment
• Degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting
• Strong accounting knowledge, especially HGB, and understanding of German tax law
• Excellent written and spoken English and German
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Team player with high reliability and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
