Finance Manager (Mandarin & German Bilingual)

Our client is a listed Chinese medical company , recognized as one of the leading organizations in the medical device division . They are committed to providing reliable medical products for doctors and patients, with the goal of improving healthcare outcomes for society.

Role Description

They are currently seeking a Finance Leader for their German subsidiary . In this role, you will lead end-to-end finance operations and compliance locally, while also supporting group financial integration and reporting with the Chinese parent company—helping to drive synergy and strategies across Germany and China, reporting directly to the CFO.

You will:

• Oversee daily local finance operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll support, tax filing coordination
• Lead annual financial statements and partner closely with local and global stakeholders
• Prepare timely reporting for the group, including standards conversion + variance analysis (CAS / IFRS / US GAAP as applicable)
• Drive budgeting/forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and risk analysis
• Optimize finance processes and systems (e.g., SAP )
• Be the business partner for key stakeholders in both Germany and HQ in China

Key Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience including leadership exposure in finance/controlling or financial management; exposure in MNCs in a plus
• Strong knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and local tax regulations
• Knowledge in Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus.
• Fluent in German and Mandarin, Good command of English
• Solid Excel knowledge; Proficiency in SAP or other mainstream ERP is a plus
• Excellent cross-cultural agility and strong stakeholders management
• Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
• Self-driven, reliable and action oriented
