Finance & Risk – Senior Consultants & Associates (m/f/d) – Germany

You will shape complex finance and risk problems for financial institutions, applying deep domain expertise to deliver value for clients. You’ll work within Oliver Wyman’s Finance and Risk practice to design governance, risk, and capital frameworks and to drive transformative initiatives. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams and clients to produce actionable recommendations and lead small teams on project work. This role offers the chance to deepen specialization and impact at a market-leading firm.

• Frame problems and develop hypotheses to guide analysis
• Plan and execute quantitative analyses and risk assessments
• Identify core issues in complex analyses to craft actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to advance projects
• Manage small teams and coordinate junior consultants
• Contribute domain insights to client discussions and knowledge sharing

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in Financial Services consulting or banking/FinTech
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in STEM, finance, or economics
• Outstanding written and oral communication; ability to adapt to seniority levels
• Business fluency in German and English
• Strong quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team-oriented with inclusive collaboration across organizational levels
• Willingness to travel internationally and work under pressure
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Nice to have: banking industry expertise in credit risk and finance; CFA or MBA
