Financial Accountant

If you want to shape the future of energy, we are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Administration team.

Salary Range

80,000–95,000 €

Responsibilities

• Manage the relevant accounting activities including monthly, quarterly and yearly closing, as well as payment flow management where necessary, providing instructions to the bookkeeping provider and ensuring compliance with Local and Enel Group policies and procedures to protect asset value.
• Manage subsidiaries’ separate financial statements, interim financial reports and consolidation forms preparation in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and administrative guidelines.
• Support the audit firm and the internal/external control bodies, where needed.
• Assess the administrative impact of new rules and regulations.
• Support internal functions/units (Tax, P&C, M&A, Finance, BD department, etc.) for all administrative aspects and extraordinary operations as well as for funding and financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in an accounting or finance department with responsibility for accounting activities and preparation of financial statements.
• 2–3 years of experience at a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and transparency.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
