Financial Accountant

For our finance team in Ludwigshafen, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Financial Accountant.

About the job:

In this role, you will support daily accounting operations within a dynamic industrial environment. Your responsibilities include posting incoming payments and reconciling them with factoring, as well as preparing and posting invoices and credit notes. You support monthly closing activities and financial reporting, take responsibility for stock correction postings, and be involved in organizing monthly and annual inventory counts and performing inventory valuations.

You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to accurate and reliable financial processes through a structured and detail-oriented way of working.

You will be responsible for:

• Posting daily incoming payments and reconciling them with factoring.
• Preparing and posting invoices and credit notes manually.
• Supporting monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
• Managing stock correction postings.
• Organizing monthly and annual inventory counts.
• Performing individual and overall inventory valuations.

Education and Work Experience:

• A completed higher education graduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field,
• At least 3 years of work experience in finance and accounting,
• Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles,
• Proficiency in both German and English,
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills,
• High level of accuracy, quality awareness, and initiative,
• Team-oriented, flexible, and able to adapt to new tasks quickly.
