As a Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you ensure the accurate, timely, and transparent execution of our financial processes. You are responsible for the correct recording of all relevant financial transactions and for the timely completion of financial closings, payment processing, and the preparation of meaningful financial reports.

• Independently manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping
• Import payroll data prepared by the external tax advisor into the company's accounting software
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities and collaborate with the external tax advisor, including handling statutory reporting requirements (e.g., VAT returns)
• Communicate professionally with business partners by phone and email in both German and English regarding outgoing invoices

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial/business administration training or an equivalent qualification, with practical experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Proficient in the use of accounting software; experience with DATEV Unternehmen online and the DATEV Cloud (Smart IT) is an advantage
• Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and precision
• High level of discretion, responsibility, and the ability to work independently while taking full ownership of assigned tasks
• Native-level German proficiency (C2) and good written and spoken English skills
