Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

As a Financial Accountant, you will support the international accounting team within Gore’s Shared Services Center in Munich by handling period closes, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. You’ll work across local and US GAAP, collaborating with global finance and business teams to ensure compliant, accurate financials. The role offers exposure to ERP optimization and cross-functional projects, contributing to reliable financial statements. • Prepare and process journal entries (revenue recognition, accruals/reserves, payroll, pension, taxes)
• Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end close tasks
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Handle internal quarterly/annual reporting according to US GAAP
• Prepare internal quarterly reporting and annual financial statements per local statutory requirements
• Ensure statutory reporting compliance (National Statistics)
• Collaborate with local/global accounting teams and business functions for GAAP compliance
• Work with IT/business teams to address ERP setup challenges and implement accounting processes
• Support AP and Inventory teams and other ad hoc tasks within accounting

• University degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional accountancy qualification
• >5 years of relevant international company or audit firm experience
• Technical accounting knowledge: IFRS required; US GAAP is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel; experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
