Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

As a Financial Accountant in our Shared Services Center in Putzbrunn, you will support accounting for several entities within an international team. You’ll manage journal entries, closes, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP. You’ll collaborate with local and global teams and help optimize our ERP processes. This role offers exposure to IFRS/US GAAP reporting, cross-functional cooperation, and opportunities to influence financial operations at scale.

• Prepare and process journal entries (revenue recognition, accruals/reserves, payroll, pension, taxes)
• Perform month-, quarter- and year-end close tasks
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Ensure internal quarterly/annual reporting according to US GAAP
• Prepare internal quarterly reporting and annual Financial Statements per local statutory requirements
• Handle statutory reporting (National Statistics)
• Collaborate with local/global accounting teams and business functions for compliance with local and US GAAP
• Work with IT/business teams to tackle ERP setup challenges and implement accounting processes
• Support AP and Inventory teams and perform ad hoc accounting tasks

• University degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional accountancy qualification
• Relevant work experience (+5 years) in an international company or audit firm
• IFRS knowledge required; US GAAP is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel; experience with SAP (S/4HANA)
• Fluent in English; Swedish a plus
