Financial Analyst - Production Controlling (m/f/d)

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott Diagnostics Manufacturing, you partner with Operations and Finance to drive financial performance for our manufacturing business. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support decisions and continuous improvement. You’ll translate data into actionable insights, build business cases for capital investments, and contribute to streamlined, compliant reporting. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations
• Analyze performance, standard costs, and variances, delivering actionable recommendations
• Partner with Operations on productivity, investments, and cost improvement initiatives
• Support month-end close, reporting, and financial reviews
• Build business cases and financial models for strategic decisions and capex
• Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and accounting standards

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• Several years of FP&A, Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Manufacturing Finance experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including standard costing and variance analysis
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business partnering
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven recommendations
• SAP and advanced Excel skills; BI or reporting tools advantageous
• Fluent German and English
