Financial Analyst

In this Financial Analyst role you support group-level controlling, consolidation, and automation initiatives to ensure accurate, timely financial processes. You will help drive digital finance transformation across Magna's Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting group, enabling data-driven insights for senior leadership. The position is a two-year fixed-term contract with potential conversion to a permanent role, working with cross-functional IT and finance teams. You’ll leverage automation tools to improve reporting quality and efficiency.

• Assist monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation and reporting
• Check compliance with group accounting policies
• Analyze performance, variances, and key indicators to provide insights to management
• Drive automation of group reporting using Power BI, RPA, Python, and ERP modules; develop dashboards and automated workflows
• Collaborate with IT and finance to implement digital solutions across entities
• Support data processing for group budgeting and forecasting; align entity plans with group objectives
• Act as technical advisor to divisional controlling teams and provide financial insights for strategic decisions

• 2-3 years in controlling
• Proven experience in automation and digital finance transformation
• Knowledge of group consolidation tools and ERP systems (SAP, OneStream)
• Advanced Excel and automation tools (Power BI, RPA platforms, Python, SQL)
