Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Location: Germany, Korntal-Münchingen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, including production budgets, labor and overhead rates.
• Prepare monthly S&OP, rolling forecasts, and profit forecasts at regional and international level.
• Support strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights.
• Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and continuously improve inventory controls and cost accounting processes.
• Analyze monthly variances and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates.
• Maintain and oversee product pricing to ensure profitability and alignment with business strategy.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Consolidate financial results across multiple regions and legal entities.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to global finance policies and procedures.
• Develop and enhance management reporting, analysis tools, and control measures to support decision-making and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
• Proven ability to manage complexity in international environments.
• Knowledge of Germany and International Accounting standards including US GAAP / IFRS desired.
• Proficiency in spoken and written German and English; other EU languages are an advantage.
• Excellent SAP knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Experience working with reporting software tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in F&A.

Compensation

• Currency: EUR.
• Salary Minimum: 85,000.
• Salary Maximum: 95,000.
• Incentive: No.
