Financial Controller (m/f/d)

As a Financial Controller/Accountant at AESyou’re accountable for collecting, analyzing and reporting financial data. Inthe role you propose solutions, cost reductions and optimization of processes.Your profile requires in depth understanding of finance, tax and accountingprinciples (HGB and IFRS).

Accounting/Tax

• Manage accountingbooks and financial statements under HGB/IFRS with the support of theaccountant
• Organize close andschedules, manage accruals and provisions
• Responsible foranalytical accounting
• Prepare andorganize the yearly audit with support of the accountant
• Ensure taxcompliance, manage tax audits with the support of the accountant/tax advisor
• Prepare and analyzeinternal and external mandatory reports
• Back-up accountantfor various tasks ensuring business continuity (i.e. payments execution)

Controlling/Reporting

• Develop financialand operating KPIs and ad-hoc financial analysis to drive betterdecision-making and monitoring
• Prepare reportingpackages and dashboards to track performance (company/project/cost center) andcompliance, including variance analysis and executive commentary
• Organize andconsolidate budget and forecasts, including long term projections and cashforecasts, reviews data and proposes cost reductions
• Provide ad-hocfinancial modelling, business case calculations, financial analysis andreporting

Process and Tools

• Draw up, developand update the accounting and finance process and guidelines, propose processimprovements
• Support internalcontrols and various audit activities
• Key user ERP andBusiness intelligence tool, maintenance of the general ledger
