Financial Program Support Analyst
As a Financial Program Support Analyst, you’ll bring your process improvement, program support, and operational expertise to work alongside thought leaders in financial management, data engineering, and mission operations supporting EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility.
You’ll help enhance the efficiency, usability, and sustainability of financial workflows, systems, and processes that enable mission execution. Work with us to identify inefficiencies, streamline business processes, and improve knowledge management practices that strengthen continuity, collaboration, and operational effectiveness across complex defense financial environments.
What You’ll Work On
- Lead or support process improvement and change management initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and usability.
- Analyze current-state business processes and design future-state workflows that improve team effectiveness.
- Support continuity of operations by maintaining institutional knowledge, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Develop, organize, and manage knowledge management resources, including SharePoint sites and content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, align priorities, and drive project progress.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely execution of initiatives.
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
- Support program coordination activities, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
You Have
- Experience with process improvement, business process analysis, or change management.
- Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, documentation, or knowledge management resources.
- Experience analyzing current- and future-state workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience working with collaboration tools, such as SharePoint for content organization and knowledge sharing.
- Knowledge of financial processes, financial program support, or fiscal operations.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving forward in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Nice If You Have
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) financial programs or operational environments.
- Experience with formal process improvement or change management methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Prosci.
- Experience designing or optimizing SharePoint sites or similar knowledge management platforms.
- Knowledge of financial program management principles or budgeting processes.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
Projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary is determined by various factors including location, education, experience, and contract‑specific requirements.
