Financial Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Preparation of regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) in accordance with applicable standards
• Preparation and analysis of data for reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses
• Ensuring data quality and integrity by reviewing data sources used
• Aligning reporting requirements with cross-functional teams and delivering on time to internal and external stakeholders
• Optimizing and automating existing reporting processes and identifying redundant reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and KPI analyses to manage company performance

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management or a related field, ideally with a focus on Controlling or Finance
• Several years of professional experience in reporting, controlling, business analytics or a similar finance-related role, preferably in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of relevant financial reporting frameworks
• Excellent analytical skills and experience working with large datasets, including reconciliations and ensuring data quality
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern ERP and BI systems
• Knowledge of IFRS and common reporting software (e.g., OneStream, Cognos) is an advantage
• Structured, detail-oriented and independent working style
• Team player, self-starter and responsible
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
