FPGA Developer - Munich area - Up to €90,000 (d / m / w)

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize FPGA-based architectures for video and image processing applications
• Bring FPGA designs into operation on target hardware platforms and ensure proper functionality
• Perform synthesis, simulation, and validation of digital designs
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain effective communication across interfaces with software and project management, ensuring deadlines are met
• Participate in agile development processes, including planning and execution within SCRUM frameworks

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
• 3+ years experience in VHDL/Verilog programming of FPGAs
• Experience in Video Processing and corresponding protocols
• In-depth familiarity with development environments such as Vivado/Vitis
• Understanding of version control practices and CI/CD workflows, particularly with Git
• Bonus: Yocto, Buildroot, Docker, GStreamer, CUDA, embedded systems
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory
• EU Nationality
