I am currently seeking an Procurement Specialist for IT & Software (m/f/d) for one of my global clients, to start as soon as possible. The role focuses on designing end-to-end sourcing strategies and managing major software vendor negotiations within international environments. Given the immediate need, my client is open to reviewing seasoned senior experts as well as motivated mid-level / junior profiles who can deliver short-term operational support.

Here are the key details:

• Position: Junior Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)
• Start: asap
• Workload: Full-time
• Duration: 6 months (with possible Extension)
• Location: Highly flexible remote setup with local hubs in Germany
• Language: Fluent in English, German is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for complex IT and digital solutions
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage major framework agreements with top-tier software, cloud, and consulting vendors
• Drive global bundling and optimization initiatives to support company-wide digital transformation goals
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across IT, Product Management, and Finance to align purchasing actions
• Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with global software publishers, resellers, and datacenter companies

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional procurement experience within the IT, Software, Technology, or Cloud sectors
• Solid understanding of IT contracts, software licensing models, and key legal clauses regarding SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and SLAs
• Proven track record of negotiating large-scale agreements with enterprise software vendors and technology channel partners
• Strong collaborative spirit with the ability to proactively engage with cross-functional leadership teams on a daily basis
• Completed university degree in Business Administration, IT Management, Procurement, or a related field
