Freelance OneStream Specialist – 3 Month Assignment (Extension Possible)

We are supporting one of our clients in finding an experienced OneStream specialist to strengthen their ongoing planning and reporting transformation. The initial assignment is planned for 3 months, with the option to extend into a longer‑term, part‑time engagement.

Project Overview

Our client is currently rebuilding and enhancing their existing OneStream landscape, especially around planning. The focus of this engagement is to improve workflows, streamline the overall solution design and support the redesign of key FP&A processes. You will work closely with the lead Solution Architect, contributing both to conceptual design and hands‑on implementation.

The project covers several core areas, including financial planning, forecasting, operational reporting and selected consolidation‑related topics.

Role Level: Mid‑ to Senior‑level OneStream Model Builder / Solution Designer

Engagement Details

• Duration: Initial 3 months (extension to long‑term part‑time possible)
• Start: As soon as available
• Location: Fully remote
• Time zone: Partial availability during CET hours

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of hands‑on experience with OneStream, ideally across FP&A, planning or consolidation‑adjacent processes
• Strong solution‑design mindset: ability to rethink workflows, redesign models and propose best‑practice structures
• Solid implementation skills: able to build, configure and refine OneStream components independently
• Good understanding of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
• Experience working closely with Solution Architects and contributing to overall platform architecture
• Ability to translate requirements into clear work packages and deliver reliably in a dynamic environment
• Someone proactive, structured and comfortable responding to evolving requirements or ad‑hoc needs
